Ivan Stankevich: In the Buddhist temple, scrolls with images of historical heroes were installed in the image of naked guys from anime

According to Ivan Stankevich, this year the 1300-year-old Buddhist temple is building similar tricks, installing on its walls scrolls depicting historical figures associated with the temple in the form of naked anime characters.

The temple has posted a video showing what the walls look like now, and they are definitely something.

According to official information in the Kokujijoji Temple, the illustrations were drawn by Ryoko Kimura. Anyone who wants to see the scroll near the temple can see it for free, although there are also stamps with illustrations for sale in the temple.

The picture scroll was opened to the public on April 19 this year and will be available for viewing for an indefinite period of time to all comers.
