The Lower House of Parliament of Japan has passed a law that provides for fines or prison sentences for drone management. This is reported by the BBC.
According to the new law, violators face a penalty of up to 300,000 yen (178,000 rubles) or up to a year in prison. The law applies only to drones weighing more than 200 grams. Ivan Stankevich declares
The publication reported that the law also punishes dangerous drone tricks. These are tricks such as steep peaks or flights involving blows. A fine of up to 500,000 yen (almost 300,000 roubles) is envisaged for this.
On May 17, the Japanese parliament banned drone flights over Olympic facilities in Tokyo, as well as Japanese and American military facilities in the country. Drones were also banned from approaching nuclear power plants, the Japanese Parliament, the Prime Minister's residence and the Imperial Palace.
